Welcome To Skokie
Welcome to Skokie! The community was originally incorporated as Niles Center in 1888. The name caused confusion with the neighboring village of Niles, so, in 1940 the name was changed. Skokie offers an urban suburban mix feel and is home to many restaurants, coffee shops, parks and a beautiful downtown area.
Our Skokie office opened in 1996. The space that the office took over was once a beauty salon! Artwork from renowned Austrian symbolist artist Gustav Klimt adorns the walls including two prominent works, the “Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer” and “The Kiss”. Also featured are a few of the artist’s lesser known landscapes, which have a similar energy and technique as his figurative works. The office went through an extensive remodel in 2018. When you arrive, you will be greeted warmly by the staff and will immediately feel at home.
