Dr. Rezaei at Retina World Congress 2024
Dr. Kourous Rezaei, President of Retina World Congress-RWC, welcomed retina specialists from around the world participating at the RWC annual meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The most recent advances in medical retina, surgical retina, imaging and biotechnology were presented and discussed among the key opinion leaders from around the world.
Dr. Rezaei moderated and led multiple sessions including sessions discussing macular degeneration, macular hole surgery, and complex retinal surgery. Our very own Vivek Chaturvedi, MD, FASRS co-chaired the Kirk Packo Surgical Video Gallery session at RWC. The legendary Kirk Packo was a former physician at Illinois Retina Associates. We are honored and proud that Dr. Rezaei led this global organization and this amazing meeting, and together with Dr. Chaturvedi representing Illinois Retina Associates and Retina Consultants of America.
